Studio portal terms
2 October 2026
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
These terms are a contract between MAMO LABS LTD, a company registered in Scotland with company number SC903926 and registered office at Office 695, 18 Young Street, Unit Lge, Edinburgh, Scotland, EH2 4JB (“we”), and the accountancy practice that uses the Fisqoo studio portal (“you”). They cover only that portal. The customer terms cover a Fisqoo subscription. These terms do not change those customer terms, including their liability cap.
The portal is for a business: a firm, a sole practitioner or a partnership acting in the course of its profession. It is not for a consumer. If you accept for a firm, you confirm you have authority to bind it. By setting a password on the link we email, or by clicking to accept, you agree to these terms, the privacy notice and the cookie notice.
- If a translation conflicts with the English text, the English text prevails, except where a mandatory rule says otherwise.
- These terms are not a solicitor’s opinion.
- Fisqoo does not file a tax return. You prepare from the records the client keeps. Filing stays outside Fisqoo.
2. What the studio portal is
The portal shows the clients linked to your studio: the declaration pack for a period, issued invoices, expenses and supplier invoices, and the files the client uploaded. It is not a copy of the client’s whole account. Issued invoices stay read-only.
- You can open lists, filter by year and quarter, and open a document detail.
- You can download the period ZIP and Excel, a PDF of an issued invoice, and an attachment or XML when the client uploaded that file.
- You cannot create, send, upload or delete the client’s invoices or expenses. You cannot change an issued invoice, or the amount, date, supplier, VAT figures or file of an expense.
- You can correct only the category of an expense. For a vehicle expense of a client whose fiscal profile is Spain, you can also set the share that counts to 100% or 50%. The document amounts stay as the client saved them. The client is notified of that change.
- Proposals, time tracking and the client’s calendar are not part of this portal.
3. How the account is created
There is no public registration for a studio. A request on the studios page does not create an account. We create the studio from our admin tools and email a link. That link is how you set a password and accept these terms. Until you accept, the portal stays closed.
- The link expires after the number of days stated in the email.
- The language of the portal and of emails to the studio is the language stored for that studio.
- You can later change the password and, if you want, turn on a passkey from Profile. The login email is read-only there.
4. How a client is linked
A client reaches your studio in one of two ways. They sign up from your studio link, or an existing client invites you from their profile. The first studio linked to that client stays linked. A later invite does not replace it.
- Signup from your link tells the client that you will see the declaration pack and that filing stays outside Fisqoo.
- You do not pay us a commission on that client.
- The client’s own subscription, invoices and books stay theirs.
5. Downloads and the pack language
The ZIP and Excel of a period follow the dates you set on that client. The language of that pack follows the client’s fiscal country, not the language of your portal. An attachment or XML is available only when the client stored that file.
6. Confidentiality
Client records in the portal are confidential. You use them for the professional work that client asked of you. You do not publish them, sell them, or use them to build a product of your own. You keep access to the login limited to people in your firm who need it for that work.
7. No fee for this portal
We do not charge the studio a subscription or a commission for this portal. That can change only if we tell you before a fee would apply and you accept. The client’s Fisqoo subscription is a separate contract with that client.
8. Ending access
You may stop using the portal at any time. We may suspend or close the studio login if you breach these terms, if we are required to by law, or if the login is unused and we have told you first. Closing the login does not delete the client’s account.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
Subject to that, our total liability arising out of these studio terms in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you actually paid us for this portal in that period. This portal has no subscription fee. If you have paid nothing, the limit is the monthly price of the Starter plan published on the pricing page on the day you accepted these terms. This does not change the liability cap in the customer terms.
- No liability for loss of profit, revenue, goodwill or anticipated savings, or for indirect or consequential loss.
- No liability for tax, interest, penalties or a filing that happens outside Fisqoo, or for a figure in the client’s records that you or the client did not check.
- The portal shows the client’s records. It does not replace your professional judgement.
10. Changes, notices and language
We may change these terms. If the change is material we will tell you by email or in the portal before it applies. If you do not agree, stop using the portal before that date. Continuing after that date is acceptance. We will not use a silent change to reduce a liability cap for a claim that has already arisen.
- Notices to you go to the studio email on the account.
- If a translation conflicts with the English text, the English text prevails, except where a mandatory rule says otherwise.
11. Law and courts
- Governing law: the laws of Scotland.
- The Scottish courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. The Scottish courts have exclusive jurisdiction. The studio portal is offered only to businesses, not to consumers.
